Three decades of publishing the Island Moon has created a full narrative of Island life through our archives which now include more than 1500 past issues of the paper which was published every two weeks from 1996 to 2012 and every week since. It constitutes the only record of the living history of Padre Island and the changes that have come over the past three decades. We are now in the ongoing process of cataloguing three terabytes of that history by category and by year which is a daunting task that will take ongoing effort for the foreseeable future, however, we have combed through enough it to give a full look at Padre Island and its people, changes, and events since the paper began in 1996. We will continue adding to this archive until we have chronicled all 1500 past issues by subject.

The first option is for a $5 per month subscription which will include a digital version of each week’s paper sent to subscribers each Wednesday evening prior to the distribution of the printed version on Thursday. It will also provide subscribers, at their option, a copy of the Island Moon Live weekly radio show and podcast Island Moon Live each Thursday after the airing of the broadcast on KEYS Radio. For readers who wish to subscribe for a full year the cost is a discounted annual fee of $50.
